该剧是《生活大爆炸》派生的番外前传剧，主要讲述童年时期的谢尔顿·库珀跟家人一同在德克萨斯州生活的故事。。顾晚棠早年间因车祸父母双亡而继承顾氏集团。其间，顾晚棠误认为是韩铮的母亲沈月华为自己捐肾，自己才侥幸从车祸中逃过一劫。一次偶然的商务活动中，顾晚棠发现韩母为自己捐肾是韩铮的一个谎言，顾晚棠暗中调查，收集证据。最后让韩铮一家得到应有的惩罚。。The poet Dante is lost in a dark and gloomy wood.
