方梦云是盛世集团的总裁，和闺蜜两人同时怀孕生产，下床活动时，却看到闺蜜鬼鬼祟祟到婴儿保育室，调换了自己和她的女儿。方梦云震惊，在闺蜜走后，又悄悄将女儿调换回来。之后方梦云用心培养女儿，并决定在女儿十八岁生日这天，将盛世集团彻底交给女儿来打理。An unstable private investigator suddenly awakens on a subway train to find himself plunging deeper and deeper into a nightmare... that may very well be of his own making.。Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals?
