The film is a formall...。1948年，人民解放军进军辽南，国民党残匪炸毁孤鹰岭矿山大部分设备后，狼狈溃逃。当时，东北全境尚未解放，暗藏的土匪和特务不断制造各种事端，刚接手的矿区一片凄凉。指挥员焦昆（张文 饰）是矿工出身，他深知，要想恢复生产，就必须依靠广大群众，他发动护矿积极分子和出身贫苦的工人，抢修被敌人损坏的开矿设备，尽全力保障钢厂矿石供应。与此同时，阶级敌人也在加紧破坏活动，他们在矿工中制造谣言，盅惑不明真相的群众闹事，并在矿井下制造塌方事故，千方百计阻挠正常生产。矿长邵仁展（陆连明 饰）做事主观武断，听不得群众意见，他把所发生事故的责任全部推到焦昆身上......。像格斗比赛那样面对着敌人，像橄榄球那样和同伴们一起防守，需要有强韧的肉体和精神，不适用任何道具的最冷门运动，其名曰卡巴迪！。
