《浊流》分为三个篇章，分别改编自明治时期日本女作家樋口一叶的三个短篇小说《十三夜》、《除夕》和《浊流》。导演今井正是50年代日本左派电影的代表人物，本片他以女性的命运作为故事的发展主线，细致展示了明治时期市井百姓的生活。。Nahuel lives with his father in a fishing town, yet he has a deep fear of the sea. One day, he finds a magical book that seems to be the solution to this problem, but a dark sorcerer is after it and captures Nahuel's father. This is where his journey to rescue his father and overcome his fears begins。
