《机智过人》第二季自8月11日起登陆央视一套，每周六晚黄金时间播出。撒贝宁、韩雪和鲁白担任机智见证团成员，朱广权担任主持人，吴秀波、赵立新、胡彦斌、李泉、黄龄、黄国伦、明道、王栎鑫、炎亚纶、鲍春来等嘉宾加盟。。故事讲述一名精明能干的FBI特工Audrey Parker (Emily Rose 扮演)因执行公差来到缅因州(美国东北角的州)一所名为“Haven”的小镇上，来到小镇不久自己惊奇发现这个小镇被一种神秘的力量保护着使得这里人们把这里当成避难所并且他们也受到一种超自然力量的影响，当又惊奇的发现当地的市民用一种类似睡眠的能力来传递信息后......。
