《沙漠中的最后时日》讲述了由伊万·麦克格雷格饰演的耶稣在沙漠中斋戒40天，遭到恶魔蛊惑后，重新找回人性的故事，影片并非源自《圣经》，而是影片导演兼编剧罗德里格·加西亚想象出来的故事。值得一提的是，罗德里格·加西亚是已故文坛巨匠，《百年孤独》作者加西亚·马尔克斯的儿子，曾执导过口碑不俗的影片《雌雄莫辩》。。隐居多年的江湖大盗“独孤泽南”艾丁宝自金盆洗手之后恢复幼时身份，回到故乡卧龙镇重拾家业，将酒楼生意恢复往日的兴隆。女捕快顾丹丹的出现搅乱了艾丁宝正常的生活，两人走到一起。顾丹丹怀疑丈夫是消失已久的江湖大盗，开展调查，两人关系紧张。卧龙镇接连发生的几件案件让两个人从敌对关系变成了合作伙伴，顾丹丹在案件的调查与侦破中难以抽离母亲与妻子的身份，却又在种种疑点中发现丈夫的背景扑朔迷离，艾丁宝在照顾妻子的同时也要暗地里帮助百姓解除困难，协助妻子顾丹丹一举端掉人口贩子的老窝，铲除奸臣，化解与救命恩人上官燕的情缘，最终在妻子面前亮出了真实的身份，并得到了妻子的谅解，一家三口继续在卧龙镇快乐的生活下去。。SYNOPSIS

NOTES
This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
