吉田喜重的第二部导演作品，由其本人编剧。在电影开场时，职员木口高志用枪指着自己的头，请求公司停止裁员，而他则愿意以自己的生命为代价，以换取其他工友继续工作的机会。木口的自杀企图由于其友的干预并未成功，而这一事件也成了轰动一时的新闻。因为木口愿意牺牲自己以保全他人的行为，甚至有保险公司愿意雇佣木口来为公司做宣传。幸存下来的木口发现自己成为了媒体的焦点，而成了名人的他的命运也不再掌握在自己手中了.....。Rianne Angers has spent the last nine years obsessing over the vicious murder of Gwen Anderson.
