A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。民国警官乔恒为调查“绣花鞋杀人事件”始末，来到了“邪门”的平河镇。在这里他经历了“绣花鞋女鬼杀人”、“洗女求子”、“头七惊魂”、“赶尸”等恐怖离奇的事件。接连不断的死亡与掀起的旧案，让乔恒与意外闯入的记者杨冰也被卷进悬案。沈家一家人的离奇死亡，只是因为撞了邪吗？乔恒不信命，在他的追查下，平河镇种种女性被压迫案件与不堪的封建陋习也由此揭开序幕。。人到中年的男主角在高强度的工作和生活压力下，逐渐变得厌倦并迷失自我，一次偶然的际遇让他找到了另类的宣泄方式，那就是无论有多重要的事情都先放下，每天用六十分钟时间彻底的放飞自我，在这段时间里他所遇到的人和事总有种似曾相识的感觉，看似偶然和偶遇的每件事和每个人似乎都和他的过去有关，最终男主角终于找回了“自己”，同时也完成了精神和心灵上的自我治愈。。
