A Japanese ghost story adapted from Hearn's "Yuki-Onna"(Kwaidan). Two woodcutters, an old man and his young apprentice, Minokichi get trapped in a snowstorm in the forest and take refuge in a hut. That night, Minokichi is forced to make a bargain that will later be forgotten.

Winner of Best Story at the European Machinima Festival '07.。故事发生在二十世纪初满清灭亡后军阀割据的动荡时局下，小小伍長狄奇(張衛健)，因一次拯救大元帥蒙大同，被連升七級成為旅長，从此负责管理昇威鎮。其他三位盤踞昇威鎮外圍的軍閥，氣得眼裏噴火，出尽暗招對付他，狄奇幸得三位出生入死的軍隊隊員馬炭(洪永城)、羅義(徐榮)、冬來兄弟(李嘉)同心抗敵，還威迫利誘敵對的武器專才顧落蘆(曹永廉)加盟，五人於昇威鎮才能站穩陣腳。可是，狄奇三位太太葉天嬌(譚凱琪)、艾妞(楊秀惠)及章沅婉(蔡思貝)在家中爭寵，沅婉更是革命黨員，狄奇明知其身份仍把她留在身邊，再加上軍營中有人野心勃勃，使昇威鎮危機四伏……。
