第一部利用微缩科技深入人体拍摄的科幻片，也是《惊异大奇航》的前身。故事描述一名苏联科学家从银幕逃到美国，因为他的脑血管遭到间谍破坏而命在旦夕。五名美国医生乃被缩小成几百万分之一置于胶片中，注射进科学家体内进行血管手术。本片构想新颖，为科幻片题材开创了新天地。人体内部景观的映象效果不乏取材性，可惜六十年代的电影特技仍未够高明，今天看来不免使观众对于某些布景感到可笑，不过并不影响本片丰富的娱乐性。导演理查德．弗莱尔叙事流畅，曾获最佳艺术指导和最佳视觉效果两项金像奖。。厌世的作家和他创业的妻子一边应对濒临破裂的婚姻，一边处理富裕生活中各种荒唐恼人之事。A wagon load of convicts on their way to prison is being escorted through the mountains by a cavalry troop.
