A film director gathers his favorite actresses, those he worked with and those he loved. He wants to make a film about women but he doesn’t reveal much: he observes them, takes cue, until his imaginary throw them into another era, in a past where the noise of the sewing machines fills a workplace handled and populated by women, where men have minor and marginal roles and cinema...。香草因未能生育男孩而不惜违法怀孕，但B超显示又是女孩，于是丈夫离她而去，香草做了人流。青年园艺师石头同情香草，虽尽全力但也无法帮助香草，最后离开了他心系的河西。。
