寂寞的都市夜，电台DJ西蒙（雷宇扬 饰）时常接到听友Cat（甄子丹 饰）打来电话倾诉衷肠，Cat挂线，拿起枪变为冷血杀手，他冲入一幢大楼，将目标人物和保镖们全部击杀。女警Carrie（吴辰君 饰）所在的小组接手此案，每日收听同一档节目并且对Cat的声音颇为熟悉的Carrie并不知道，Cat的形象早已出现在她的脑海……
