一群对同性感兴趣的年轻男子住在海边的一间名为“绿色空间”的泳池别墅里。他们经营着一家咖啡车，一起度过了一个夏天，只为寻找真爱。这个长假是一段完全属于爱情和友谊的特殊时光。但当秋天到来时，谁会遇到他们唯一的“男朋友”呢？。克林特·伊斯特伍德在片中饰演一位现代的猎人，专门追捕警方悬赏缉捕的歹徒。这一次他的盯梢物件是个性懦弱的新纳粹主义分子，不料歹待的同伙竟然把他的小婴儿绑架了去，导致婴儿的母亲急如热锅上的蚂蚁。于是他反过来帮忙歹徒的妻子救回她的孩子，而片名所指的粉红色凯迪拉克轿车就是故事中主要的道具。导演不强调暴力动作场面，反而将本片拍了出了一点喜剧味道，主角的搭档也颇有新鲜感。。The story of a young group of siblings pretty much abandoned by their parents, surviving by their wits - and humor - on a rough Manchester council estate.
