乔希是个20岁的小伙子，他的生活一团糟：作为一个无业游民，他欠着房租，而他的女友又离开了他。一心想成为一个APP应用评论家的他某天在网上发现一款名叫I-lived的自救软件，他于是决定从这款软件开始，使用、探寻、评测，从中寻找乐趣。等他登陆这个软件之后，他生活就立刻出现转机。他因此遇到了自己的梦中情人，找到了一份理想的工作，但随之而来的结果是：一旦退出这个软件他就会失去一切。在好奇和对成功向往的驱使下，他再一次登陆，而此时，一些条款开始变得不同，这个APP开始要求他做一些能够帮助他成功却显然违反道德伦理的事情……。He works at the fairground as “Stump the Guesser”, who can guess anything for a fee.
