从瑞典回来后，喜爱“极简主义”的简计划将自己的家改造成工作室，多年前的旧物相继被清理了出来，其中包括前男友艾姆的东西。这些物件虽然已经没有用处，却承载着往事回忆与情意，简无法如自己预期的那样直接丢弃。为了找寻这些物件的归路，她做了很多努力：一一归还属于朋友的物品，亲自送回属于艾姆的东西并致歉自己曾经的离开，最终也卖掉了已逝父亲的钢琴。伴随着旧物的处理，她也告别了自己的过去，面对重新布置的新环境，准备好了新的开始。该片曾获2020年第15届大阪亚洲电影节最佳影片奖。。Mid-August in Paris (the title is a date: August 15) in a sunny, quiet apartment a young woman talks, thinks, reflects about herself, everyday life and little events in a long, uninterrupted monologue.
